Join The Plastic Tide team at Mundesley Beach on Friday 12th May.
*DATE AND TIME CHANGE*
Hey folks! We've relocated to nearby Mundesley as we're told there is a lot of plastics waiting to be clean - Join us!
MEET AT BOTTOM OF RAMP 1PM HERE: https://goo.gl/maps/CoK4jmX1pju
Follow us on Twitter (@ThePlasticTide). Instagram (@VisionfromtheSkys) or our Mission Control page;
What to expect: At the time above we’ll start the brief, explaining what The Plastic Tide is and how the beach clean will work. We'll also invite you to take part in a voluntary questionnaire that should take 5mins and again 5mins after the beach clean.
** Please be advised those who may not be very mobile; there is a steep walk down and back up from cliff top to the beach, access to the litter may involve a climb of sea defenses**
Each clean will take approximately 2 hours - any help to move the rubbish after would be gratefully appreciated.
If you miss us, you should find us on the beach with litter pickers and hi vis vests - come up and let us know you want to join us!
What to bring: Clothing should be suited to the weather forecast for the day, proper shoes suited for the beach - hiking shoes are a safe bet. Please also bring some food and water if you require it. Don’t forget the suncream in the unlikely event it is a hot and sunny day!
We have a limited supply of litter pickers, bags and hoops, but the minimum you’ll need is a pair of sturdy garden gloves – so bring them if you have them!
Transport: Best option is car, but you can get a train to North Walsham and then it is a 30min bus ride to the location.
Places to Stay: A quick search for “accommodation” on Google Maps is a good place to start for options.
See you there!
