East Runton (Cromer) Beach Clean

Join The Plastic Tide team at East Runton (Cromer) on Wednesday 10th May.

**Date & time change**

We've had to change the date, time and location, apologies for the inconvenience.

So join us at the revised time, date and location at East Runton (just west of Cromer) on Wednesday 10th May at 1pm

We'll meet at the bottom of the access point/boat ramp at East Runton, this postcode should take you there for sat nav NR27 9PA (its actually for the public toilets there!)

The google maps location is here: https://goo.gl/maps/gQ2wZLBABoA2

High Tide is at 1:50 pm so we will start promptly!

Follow us on Twitter (@ThePlasticTide). Instagram (@VisionfromtheSkys) or our Mission Control page;

Location: We'll meet at East Runton, at the bottom of the boat launch/access point at 1pm.

What to expect:
At the time above we’ll start the brief, explaining what The Plastic Tide is and how the beach clean will work. We'll also invite you to take part in a voluntary questionnaire that should take 5mins and again 5mins after the beach clean.

Each clean will take approximately 2 hours - any help to move the rubbish after would be gratefully appreciated.

If you miss us, you should find us on the beach with litter pickers and hi vis vests - come up and let us know you want to join us!

What to bring: Clothing should be suited to the weather forecast for the day, proper shoes suited for the beach - hiking shoes are a safe bet. Please also bring some food and water if you require it. Don’t forget the suncream in the unlikely event it is a hot and sunny day!

We have a limited supply of litter pickers, bags and hoops, but the minimum you’ll need is a pair of sturdy garden gloves – so bring them if you have them!

Transport: If not coming by car there are a few options, use Google as the first port of call for transport.

Places to Stay: A quick search for “accommodation” on Google Maps is a good place to start for options.

See you there!

Thanks,
The Plastic Tide team.
